Working Group Meetings: An Introduction for Participants
The Department of Near Eastern Studies Memory and Identity 2009-10 Working Group will meet in twelve meetings over the Fall and Spring semesters. Meetings will take place on alternate Wednesdays of each month from 4-5:30 pm. Each meeting will comprise of a twenty-five to thirty-minute lecture or presentation by a speaker, followed by two ten-minute responses by two persons. The speaker of each session will be either a Berkeley faculty member, an invited guest scholar or graduate student. The respondents will be a graduate student and a faculty member or visiting scholar.
